Kavumu College of Technology Technician and Cashier Jobs Vacancies in Rwanda

Kavumu College of education (KCE) is seeking to qualified and experienced personals for the following positional :

POST1 : Estes Technician

Duties and responsibilities
• Solving technical problems related to piping facilities at KCE ;
• Prepare assessment report every time is lack of water and electricity and try to solve or get help from other technicians as regards KCE estates ;
• Inform authorities on time about the materials needed to perform the desired services ;
• Provide technical supervision of the generator and all local electrical installations of KCE ;
• Check the defective electrical installations and plan for their replacement ;
• Maintain the premises of KCE in good condition ;
• Carry out any other duties assigned by his or her supervisors.

Qualification
• At least A2 Electricity, plumbing or related field ;
• IT skills (MS Word, Excel, Point and Internet Explorer,
• Fluent (oral and Written) in English, a working knowledge of French would be an added advantage,
• At least 2 years working experience in the same or a similar post.

POST2 : CASHIER

Duties and responsibilities
• To keep an accountancy of petty cash ;
• To pay the price consumable of office and another amount consumable don’t beyond of the petty cash ;
• Recording the appropriate entries into the petty cash book and prepare a petty cash report on impress system
• Prepare all payment of check and cash ;
• Make close follow up and disburse students bursary allowances on a monthly basis ;
• Keeping safely all documents of cashier ;
• Carry out any other duties assigned by his or her supervisors

Qualification
• At least A1 Accounting, Management or A2 with working experience of 2 years in the same or similar post
• IT skills (MS Word, Excel , Access, Power point and internet explorer,
• Fluent (oral and written) in English, a working knowledge of French would be an added advantage.
