RWANDAIR Air Hostesses Jobs Vacancies in Rwanda

RwandAir is the Rwanda National Carrier. As it continues to reposition, consolidate and expand, a number of opportunities continue to be available for immediate recruitment. We are looking for exceptional people to work for an exceptionally demanding organization.

Desired candidate will be results-driven, be service-focused, a team player, an effective communicator with well-honed negotiation skills, a strategic thinker with adequate attention to detail, of unquestionable honesty and integrity, be technologically aware and have an exceptional interpersonal skills. It is on this basis that Rwandair wishes to recruit in-flight Cabin attendants that will assist the organization to achieve its objectives.

Interested candidates should fulfill the following criteria:

Minimum Academic Qualifications & Experience:
• High school A 2 diploma or equivalent/or higher.
• Two years proven customer service experience in a similar environment e.g
• hospitality/hotel and tourism related business.
• Age between 21-35 years old.
• Minimum height:
- 6 metres female.
- 1.8 metres male.
• Weight must be proportional to height.
• Must have a vision corrected to 20/20.
• Well groomed and pleasant personality.
• Must be a Rwandan National.

Key competencies:
1. Ability to communicate with all customers with confidence, clarity and honesty.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English/French and Kinyarwanda.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
5. Ability to work well as part of a team.
6. Working knowledge of hospitality and travel industry.
7. Able to quickly adapt to and work in a multi-cultural environment.
8. Able to work effectively with limited/minimal/no supervision.
9. Able to read and comprehend and follow instructions as found in operating passenger
10. Handling manuals.
11. Able to remain calm in a demanding, fast paced working environment and take control in
12. unexpected situations.

Reporting to the Manager Cabin Services.

Successful candidates are expected to:
a) To receive all Rwandair customers on board and provide high quality in-flight service to all passengers during the course of their journey.
b) Ensure that service levels comply with the Rwandair in-flight service manual on every flight on all routes.

Main responsibilities:

These include the following key areas among others:
- Receive all customers that board all Rwandair flights and assist them in seating, handling and storage of cabin baggage.
- Perform all safety checks and advise the passengers appropriately to ensure their safe and
comfortable flight.
- Brief all passengers on in-flight regulations prior to departure.
- Ensure that the passengers receive due attention and mitigate customer dissatisfaction if
any during the course of the journey.
- Assist passengers to disembark on arrival at destination and hand them over to ground
attendants for onward passage.
- Promote the various components of Rwandair in-flight product.
- Maintain current knowledge of all in-flight and emergency procedures.
- Ensure compliance with prescribed company in-flight service policies and procedures
while discharging their duties.
- Positively promote passenger satisfaction in a professional manner.

Successful candidates will be taken for initial in-flight cabin training to ensure that they meet the industry performance requirements for the job.
