TEVSA (The Technical and Vocational Private Schools Association in Rwanda) CEO (Chief Executive Officer) Job Vacancy in Kigali, Rwanda

CEO (Chief Executive Officer) The Technical and Vocational Private Schools Association in Rwanda (TEVSA ) is a networking TVET organization aiming at improving the quality and relevance of Technical and Vocational Skills Development and empowering the youth with “hands on” skills.

TEVSA actively works in partnership with the Ministry of education - WDA (Workforce development authority), development partners such GIZ, JICA, International TVET/TVSD institutions and the Private Sector Federation (PSF).

TEVSA is currently looking for qualified and competent professional for the post of CEO (Chief Executive Officer) to lead and coordinate its activities from its Kigali headquarter.

 Be a professional with a Masters degree in Business (MBA, Management, Economics or other related field) and, a minimum of 5 years professional experience. Familiarity with Education and or TVET projects would be an advantage.
 A good command of English and Kinyarwanda is a must. A working knowledge of French would be an advantage.
 A good Knowledge of project proposals and report writing
 An advanced level of management and administrative skills
 A Business minded and oriented person with a network of contacts.
 An excellent level of communication and negotiation skills
 A good level of IT skills
 A high capacity to effectively work independently or under minimum supervision;
 Provide needed overall leadership for TEVSA expansion, growth and sustainability;
 overall management and oversight of TEVSA activities strategies;
 Planning, implementing, monitoring and participate in evaluating operational plan of the organization;
 Overall financial management, control and reporting;
 Directing, leading and inspiring local and expatriate staff members of the secretariat;
 Develop innovative approaches for addressing client needs and queries in relation with service delivery and quality assurance.
 Design and deploy appropriate strategies for sustainability
 Work with partners’ teams to gather requirements, create specifications and develop new solutions or enhance existing strategies.
 Coordinates all TEVSA activities such as General Assemblies, Committee Meetings, TOT’s
 Make follow-up on members responsibilities and ensure members adherence to deadlines
