FERWAFA would like to request interested people to apply for the below listed position by fulfilling the respective mentioned requirements:
Internal Auditor
Reporting to the Executive Committee

Role: To ensure that compliance with policies, procedures, rules and regulations are set by the Federation.
He (she) is also in charge of:
  • Ensuring that all the Federation’s systems and procedures, laid down in manuals and circulars are adhered to;
  • Assisting in the prudent and effective management of the Federation through appropriate policies, systems and procedures;
  • Reviewing, appraising and reporting on the adequacy and effectiveness of systems and controls established by the Federation;
  • Ensuring integrity and reliability of information and data, and enhancing corporate governance in the Federation’ financial matters;
  • Conducting special investigation on major operational discrepancies;
  • Liaising with external auditors and following up issues raised in their management letters;
The candidate will:
  • have a degree qualified in a field related to Finance and / or Audit.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years experience in the specified field.
  • Have knowledge and understanding of the Finance and Audit landscape and operations.
  • Be proficient in the use of MS Office suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Be dependable, cooperative and a team player.
  • Be able to work independently, pro-actively and have a 'hands-on' approach.
  • Have excellent task-management skills, able to set and meet deadlines and multi-task effectively.
  • The candidate should be available to start immediately upon confirmation of his recruitment and contract terms finalization.
