Royal London and Durham University Business School PhD Studentship in UK



Royal London Doctoral Research Fellowship
Durham University and Royal London, the UK’s largest mutual life and pensions company, are embarking on collaborative research into the meaning and value of mutuality.
The project will establish a new post-experience doctoral research studentship based in the company’s London offices and
supervised by leading academics from Durham University Business School.
Candidates wishing to register their interest should normally hold a Master’s degree. Experience in the finance/banking sector would be an advantage.
The position, expected to start in October 2016, is full-time over a period of three years and will cover the equivalent to Home/EU tuition fees in addition to a maintenance grant of £18,000 per annum leading to the award of a PhD.
To be eligible, you must have completed the appropriate programme application process in full and hold an offer of a place. When completing your application, please select the programme "PhD in Accounting", and within the fees section please state "Royal London Funding".
Closing date for applications is 31 July 2016 (extended from 27 June).

ESRC Studentships
Available via our ESRC-funded NorthEast Doctoral Training Centre, these studentships are open to Home/EU students across the social sciences. Additionally, both Home/EU and International students can apply for awards in Finance & Economics.

Durham Doctoral Studentships
These awards are open to International candidates and also Home/EU candidates in fields not currently eligible for funding via the Faculty's network of Doctoral Training Centres and Partnerships.
Scholarship for applicants from Mexico
As proud partners, Durham University and CONACyT collectively support applicants from Mexico on a range of programmes within the Faculty of Social Sciences and Health and the Faculty of Science. In addition to full fee payment, CONACyT also award stipend payments to successful applicants.
In addition, scholarship opportunities also exist through the jointly funded CONACyT-FUNED scheme.
