The Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy Internship
TIMEP is now accepting applications for its fall 2016 internship program. Please submit applications by July 29, 2016.
The Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy (T
IMEP) is looking to hire an intern to support its research and advocacy initiatives related to Middle East policy.
TIMEP interns will gain hands-on experience at a non-profit organization dedicated to informing policy-makers and the general public about developments in the region.  Interns will have the opportunity to develop analytic and writing skills related to regional policy, while working on ground-breaking initiatives related to the region’s economic, political, social, and security landscapes. Located in TIMEP’s offices in downtown Washington D.C., the internship also allows a unique opportunity for engagement in policy-making circles and interaction with a wide variety of civil society and government actors. Gaining dynamic experience at a small organization, interns will benefit from the mentorship of TIMEP’s accomplished senior staff and fellows, who will supervise the intern’s research and professional development.
For those looking to gain greater familiarity with regional issues and who are interested in gaining experience in a non-profit setting, TIMEP also offers internships related to advocacy, communications, development, and administration.
While the weekly time commitment is flexible, we ask that interns commit at least 15 hours per week in TIMEP’s Washington DC office.
