Africa Improved Foods Rwanda Ltd is a manufacturer of highly nutritious quality fortified foods. Our nutrition products are intended to address malnutrition among vulnerable population segments such as pregnant and breast-feeding mothers, older infants and young children especially in the first 1,000 days of their life. To this end, we plan to avail on a commercial scale nutritional products for lifestyle consumer groups in Rwanda and the
whole East African Region.
In as much as we are a commercial, for profit organization, we also strive to have the maximum social, economic and environmental impact possible on the communities in which we operate.

General Job information
Job title: Data Entry & Weighbridge Operator

Reports to: Business Integration and Support Manager
Direct reports: None
Indirect reports: None
Purpose of the job
The jobholder plays a key role in related procedures to operating the weighbridge by measuring the weight of trucks and capturing accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate weighbridge facility
  • Record data and make a comparison with all documents accompanying the products
  • Indicate and report to your supervisor any variances discovered
  • Submit the documentation to the concerned team in the warehouse for reception and or delivery
  • Prepare and provide a daily Report of the weighing bridge machine results showing details of the goods in question
  • Strictly implement safety and health rules in line with the company policy
  • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Knowledge and educational level
  • Minimum Senior 6 level in Mathematics, Management or any related field.
Required level of experiences
  • A minimum of 2 years relevant experience 
  • Proven experience in data entry
  • Excel reporting skills
  • Ability to drive/operate forklift machines (Rwandan Driving license class F) will be an added advantage
