Youth Ready Facilitator
World Vision International (Rwanda) is a child focused Christian humanitarian organization implementing development programs in 15 Districts of Rwanda.
World Vision seeks to hire a highly qualified, dedicated and experienced national for the position of Youth Ready Facilitator. This position will be based at one Cluster Office, and reporting to the Economic Development Coordinator


Purpose of the position:
The Youth Ready Facilitator will facilitate the implementation of the THRIVE Program activities within the selected Area Programs in collaboration with partners and to ensure Youth integration into THRIVE Program through mentorship and coaching along youth viability journey.
Communicate World Vision’s Christian ethos and demonstrate a quality of spiritual life that is an example to others.

The major responsibilities:
·         Facilitate Community Youth Mapping
·         Facilitate formation of youth cohort
·         In partnership with Market Facilitator, facilitate training of youth on VSLA Model
·         Facilitate youth training on Financial literacy, Functional Literacy, Life Skills, developing, customizing and delivering Entrepreneurship Curriculum,
·         Facilitate the formation of Youth Interest Group VSLAs
·         Ensure tracking of VSLA group performance through the SAVIX MIS system in collaboration with the national office MIS officer/Administrator
·         Support students to write business plans, Source for mentors for the students, Facilitate small business grants and microfinance linkages and ensure all trainees open individual saving accounts with a recognized financial institution
·         Facilitate selection of Youth Pathways
·         Facilitate internships/Apprenticeships with local businesses
·         Facilitate provision of Technical/Vocational training scholarships and Graduation toolkits

Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:

Minimum Qualification required:
·         A Bachelors Degree in Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, Management, Education, or Social Work

Experience:
·         At least Three (3) years experience training entrepreneurship

Technical Skills & Abilities:
·         Must have leadership and managerial skills.
·         Must have relevant training in Entrepreneurship.
·         Must have ICT Skills.
·         Must have strong experience of Mentorship Program, Microfinance and VSLA.
·         Must be mature and with the right attitude.
·         Must have passion of working with young people.
·         Ability to meet deadlines and handle diverse tasks simultaneously using prioritization.
·         Strong oral and written communication skills.
·         Dynamism, creativity and flexibility.
·         Networking skills a must
·         Commitment to implementing WV’s vision and mission at all levels and in all aspects of the project.
·         Relevant teamwork experience and good interpersonal skills.
·         Mature Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.
