CARE Rwanda,Monitoring and Evaluation Professional jobs in Rwanda

The project Monitoring and Evaluation Professional facilitates the overall process of design, planning and implementation of a relevant M&E and Learning strategy for CARE Rwanda project. This includes: the development of relevant indicators to measure the projects’ output, effect and impact; the data collection methodology, organization of periodic and continuous project
review, organization of baseline, mid-term and final studies, making recommendation to the project to improve the quality based on the evidence provided from the field. Finally, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring that the project monitoring and evaluation system is used by all implementing partners and projects and that data are aggregated centrally and used to improve project performance.

This position requires a close coordination and communication with: Projects Managers and Research/analyst manager; CARE Rwanda program quality team, partners, research institutions, external consultants and field staff when appropriate.
Required profile (indicative):
Educational Qualifications:
  • Degree in Statistics, Demography or any equivalent diploma.
Job related experience:
  • At least 5 years of experience in the development and implementation of M&E systems
  • Excellent capacity in data collection, analysis and treatment of survey method using quantitative and qualitative;
  • Good knowledge of research design methods
Technical skills:
  • Excellent knowledge of statistical package : SPSS, STATA, SAS
  • Proven communication and facilitation skill
  • Language skills: English with good knowledge of French
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and complete tasks according to agreed deadlines.
  • Proven experience with the logical framework approach and other strategic planning approaches;
