Divisional Manager Jobs in Rwanda



MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
To be responsible for effective management/performance of 300- 500 Ha Tea Division and ensure that the Division is managed to highest agricultural standards.
JOB SUMMARY
  • Process accurate and timely payroll data to bank.
  • Develop tea nursery & deliver sturdy plants.
  • Oversee New Tea Development –Land preparation /planting & bringing young tea into bearing sustainably.
  • Deliver crop volumes, Quality, while embracing good Agricultural practices in the Division.
  • Participate in the preparation of Estate budgets & performance.
  • Responsible for the Care & use of Company assets in the Estate/Division.
  • Responsible for cascading Company information to the employees in the division.
  • Implement all company policies and procedures in the Division
  • Monitor & Control expenditure in the Division.
  • Coordinate the Recruitment, Training & development of personnel in the Division.
  • Link between Company & Community in fostering Corporate Social Relations activities.
  • Support the development and review of the plantation strategies
  • Ensure Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) requirements are implemented.
  • Deliver the business targets aligned to Unilever business strategy in the Division.
  • Provide counselling services to employees in the Division.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • Graduate in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering or Bachelor of Science or any other relevant experience
  • 2 Years experience
  • Agronomic skills
  • Project and Infrastructure Management
  • Industrial Relations/Employee Relations
  • Asset Investment and Care
