The management of Energy Utility Corporation Limited (EUCL) informs the public that it is recruiting competent, qualified and experienced staff to fill the following positions:

1. Maintenance Planning Engineer (1)


●Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.

● Demonstrated two (02) years of related experience in power system operation and maintenance.

● Strong written and oral communication skills; teamwork spirit and ability to manage multiple projects/activities with varying scopes and timelines;

● Strong customer service orientation; demonstrated level of professionalism and positive attitude; ability to exercise flexibility to work effectively in a changing environment; anticipate and resolve problems at hand;

● Advanced computer and technological skills; demonstrated knowledge of construction, maintenance and operation of transmission network, HV/MV substations, distribution network, MV switchgears and MV/LV transformers, etc. ●Strong planning and scheduling skills. Planning&/scheduling training courses would be an asset;

●Strong knowledge of maintenance equipment and facilities of electricity transmission and distribution system;

● In-depth knowledge and application of technical requirements and quality standards along with familiarity with Maintenance Management program;

● Ability to read and interpret equipment specifications, engineering drawings, Isometric (ISO), charts, tables, and study sample parts;

● Sound and correct understanding of equipment reliability concepts;

●Ability to manage conflicting priorities and deliver on timelines;

● Proficiency with computer applications such as the Microsoft Office suite;

● Knowledge of Arc GIS, ArchiCAD, CMMS or any other power system software is an asset;

● Fluency in both spoken and written English and French

2. Senior Engineer Thermal(1)

Bachelor’s Degree (A0) in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical  At least 5 years of experience in a Thermal energy·Engineering and;  related role

3. Electrical Engineer Thermal(1)

 At least two (02)·Bachelor’s Degree (A0) in Electrical Engineering;  years’ work experience in an energy maintenance planning role

4. Technical Assistant(1)

Bachelor’s Degree (A0) in Electrical, Electromechanical OR Electronic  At least 2 years of experience in an Electricity Utility·Engineering;  ·in any capacity (field based roles shall be an added advantage; OR  Technical Diploma in Electrical, Electromechanical OR Electronic  At least 4 years’ experience in an Electricity·Engineering, with  Utility in any capacity Additional Requirements: Good interpersonal skills; Team building skills ;Analytical and Problem solving skills; Decision making skills; Communication skills; Time management



5. Civil Engineer(1)

● Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; Structural engineering;

● Minimum of three (3) years of working experience;

● Conversant with software design; Excellent skills in reporting and communication.

6. Filling &Archiving Officer(2)

At least a Diploma (A1) in Library and Information Science with at  A·least three (02) years of experience in records management;  University degree (A0) in Office Administration or Business Management with a proven experience of three (03) years.

7. Legal Specialist(1)

●Bachelor’s Degree (A0) in Law and a professional qualification in law and;

●At least 5 years of experience in a legal related role.

8. Standards Monitoring Officer(1)

• Bachelor’s Degree (A0) in Electrical Engineering; and • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role

9. Energy Efficiency Officer(1)

• Bachelor’s Degree (A0) in Electrical Engineering; and • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role

10. Branch Manager(5)

●Bachelor’s Degree (A0) Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering with a highly demonstrated managerial Skills;

●Experience of 3 years minimum in a similar role

11. Quality Assurance Engineer (Specialist level) (2)

·●A0 or Bachelor’s Degree in the Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and;

·●At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role;

·●Additional Quality Assurance Related Certifications

●Knowledge of standards of electrical equipment and materials

●Advanced level computer skills (MS Office applications)

12. SAFETY OFFICER (1)

●Knowledge of applicable safety guidelines,

●Knowledge of industrial and operational Safety aspects,

●3Years’ experience in the industrial or utility safety environment,

●Operation Health and Safety (OHS) Certification is an added advantage. Personal skills: In addition to the experience and educational requirements listed above:Must be able to influence and motivate personnel; Good leadership skills; Inter-personal skills; Attention to detail; Organizational skills;Team player; Good communications and reporting skills

13. Performance Management, Training &Development Specialist (1)

●Bachelor’s Degree (A0) in Human Resource management, Organizational Psychology, Sociology, Public Administration, Management, other related fields.

●At least (Five) 05 years of experience in Human Resource Operations

● Master’s degree in the above mentioned fields plus two years of experience in Human Resources Operations

●Additional skills: Analytical skills,Team working skills, Decision making skills,Problem solving and analysis

14. Regional Human Resource Officer (Upcountry) (4)

●Bachelor’s Degree (A0) in Human Resource management, Organizational Psychology, Sociology, Public Administration, Management, other related fields.

●At least (Two) 02 years of experience in Human Resource Operations

●Additional skills: Analytical skills,Team working skills, Decision making skills,Problem solving and analysis

15. Recruitment Specialist(1)

●Bachelor’s Degree (A0) in Human Resource management, Organizational Psychology, Sociology, Public Administration, Management, other related fields.

●At least (Five) 05 years of experience in Human Resource Operations

● Master’s degree in the above mentioned fields plus two years of experience in Human Resources Operations

●Additional skills: Analytical skills,Team working skills, Decision making skills,Problem solving and analysis

16. Engineering Planning Coordinator (1)

●Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a professional qualification in Engineering and;

●At least 5 years’ experience in a managerial position in a similar role;

●A Master’s degree in a related field will be an added advantage. Personal skills: In addition to the experience and educational requirements listed above, a suitable candidate should demonstrate the following personal skills:

●Strong leadership skills

●Team player

●Strong organizational, communication and reporting skills.

●Ability to multi-task, set priorities and meet strict deadlines.

●Demonstrates management skills.

●Using logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems.
