The product range includes, life, health and general Insurance, pensions, unit trusts, investment planning wealth management offshore Investments, retirement  planning, discretionary portfolio management property development and private equity

We wish to fill the above position in our Rwanda Subsidiary -Britam Insurance Company (Rwanda) Ltd. Preferred candidate Rwandese national

Key Responsibilities

1 Plans, directs supervises and interprets human resources policies and procedures for the respective country business

 2 Implements staff training programmes in the respective country In accordance with the defined guidelines

3 Administers staff benefit schemes including Group Medical, Group Pension and Group Life insurance

 4 ingrain the performance management culture and administrating the performance aide through using the balanced scorecard methodology

5. Manages employed welfare issues

 6. Develop and implement effective relation plans for key resources

 7. Execute the entire SU recruitment and on boarding process and activities.

 e g approvals, advertisement, short-listing,  interviewing, negotiation, contract management and induction.

8 Conducts and interviews to identity reasons for employee separation from the company.

 9 Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organization attitudes

 10 Enhancing the right culture and creating ownership of the organizations values, vision and mission and driving change in line with business goals

11 Ensures the maintenance of up-to date personnel records and statistics, both physically and online

 12 Prepares monthly reports to the CEO and Group

 13 Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Working Relationships- Internal and External

 • Directly accountable to the Country CEO and indirectly to ate Group Human Resource Manager

 • Required to liaise and work closely with the other line managers as may be necessary

 • Labour Law organizations

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required

1 Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Human Resources or related field

2. Post graduate diploma in HR

3. 6-8 years’ experience in a similar post on 2 of which should be in a supervisory role

4. Proficient in HR management systems

5 Preferred candidate Rwandese national
