We specialize in the production and distribution of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beers and we are increasingly renowned for offering SKOL, VIRUNGA beer brands and PANACHE.
In order to respond to our growing market with the right human capital, we are currently looking for a vibrant team player in the Finance Department.
JOB TITLE:                              CASHIER AND CREDIT CONTROLLER
REPORTS TO:                        TREASURY OFFICER   
The cashier and Credit Controller effectively manages payments from and towards clients, processes cash register operations accurately and efficiently controls clients’ payments in order to safeguard the company assets. 
A.    Petty Cash
  • Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers,
  • Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change,
  • Ensure daily posting of all transactions,
  • Cash cheques for customers,
  • Pay company bills by cash, vouchers, or cheques,
  • Prepare cash replenishment in order to avoid shortage,
  • Keep periodic balance sheets of amounts and numbers of transactions,
  • Keep register of Cheques and Vouchers,
  • Ensure proper filling of documents,
  • Checking daily cash accounts,
  • Maintaining monthly, weekly and daily report of transactions,
  • Maintain orderly appearance of till area and supplies stocked.
B.    Controlling
  • Receive daily cheques from Account Receivable and cross check with daily sales,
  • Ensure deposit of cheques within the limit and follow up at the bank,
  • Ensure that the report on bounced cheques are given daily,
  • Any other duty assigned by his supervisor.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or a similar field.
  • Proven experience of 2 years minimum in Accounting field
  • Knowledge of on accounting software
  • Knowledge of Microsoft tools (Intermediate level of Excel, Word)
The position is based in Kigali, Rwanda and is a full-time permanent job.
