We are looking for a highly-motivated HR Manager with immediate availability who wants to support our growth with effective and hands-on services in Kigali:
Your responsibilities:
  • Own the recruitment process from advertising, candidate selection, interviewing to contract management especially for sales staff members
  • Coordinate and develop new team member’s induction
  • Prepare and manage job descriptions and employment contracts
  • Support Finance Department in compilation and handling of employee payroll
  • Coordinate and collaborate in staff planning and regular reviews
  • Plan, organize and evaluate staff trainings
  • Recommend, assist and follow-up with the implementation of HR standards and processes
  • Consult employees and managers in all HR related matters
  • Develop and drive new HR initiatives
  • Prepare and maintain the general filing system as well as HR documents such as training calendar
Your profile:
  • University degree in HR Management, Business Administration, Human Sciences or equivalent
  • Over 3 years’ work experience in various HR disciplines preferred, Retail and/ or Direct Customer Contact industryknowledge would be a plus (within stores, consuming goods, customer service, call center, hotel etc.)
  • Good understanding about job specification and skills of Sales personnel
  • Very good knowledge of local labor law
  • Ability to communicate effectivelyin English and Kinyarwanda
  • Proficient in standard office software (specifically MS Word, MS Excel)
  • Autonomous, structured and pragmatic way of working
  • Open-minded, empathic and trustable mind-set with the ability to motivate others
  • Driving License will be an added advantage
