About babyl
babyl is an innovative digital healthcare service providing access to doctors and nurses through mobile phones, using either the feature phones or the smart phones. We combine the latest technology with the knowledge and experience of the qualified expert doctors and nurses in the country, babyl seeks to make healthcare simpler, better, more accessible and affordable for Rwandans everywhere.
Our platform lets users act upon health concerns quickly by accessing medical professionals within minutes, to have a medical consultation through their mobile phone.  Users will also be able to get their prescriptions sent to their mobile phones and collect them from their local pharmacy for convenience. All clinical records will be stored and available to patients whenever they need it; including notes, images, videos and audios of the consultations.
This application will be available for all types of phone users. Smart phone users will be able to have consultations with doctors via video. There will be also be a USSD version of the service and through this our nurses will triage the clients.
We are well on our way to making this happen in Rwanda.
Job Description
The role
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Operations: this role will have responsibility for managing and growing our wide network of agents and district managers. You have complete responsibility over training our sales force how to pitch, close and maintain an extremely positive relationship with our customer base. You will work closely with marketing, technology and operations teams to deliver the best results for our customers on an ongoing basis.
  • Understand babylon's proposition and confidently pitch it across a wide range of prospects.
  • Manage the sales force to ensure a smooth ales process, eliminate obstacles and drive deals to closure.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with agents and clients to drive revenue and growth
  • Regularly and proactively interact with customers and agents, ensuring any issues are escalated, tracked and resolved
  • Participate in forecasting growth, track and report metrics and results
  • Closely collaborate with B2B sales team to identify and close opportunities to upsell and extend client relationships
  • Work closely with marketing, product and engineering to optimise the product portfolio and sales process.
  • Create and manage a communication strategy which includes quarterly business reviews, potential new opportunities and feature updates
Job Qualifications
  • Sales management experience
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • High degree of critical thinking, organizational and decision-making skills, initiative and attention to detail.
  • Ability to determine work priorities and remain flexible as needs and priorities change.
  • Strong written and verbal communications kills.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently with limited supervision or within a group or team.
  • What’s nice to have?
  • Healthcare or medical health insurance experience;
  • Ability to managing 700 agents thought the country;
