Oxfam’s vision,Public Auction for Used Office Assets and Equipment

Oxfam Rwanda programme has developed its
Country Strategy for the period of 2015 – 2020. Oxfam in Rwanda has identified interventions which align with its mission – to ensure that poor women, men and youth enjoy equal rights and benefit from fair and inclusive development-. Based on a comprehensive analysis of the Rwandan context, Oxfam delivers a combination of programme interventions and advocacy and influencing activities to drive outcomes. Oxfam intervenes in four main sectors in Rwanda namely: Gender Justice, Sustainable Livelihoods, Participatory Governance and Humanitarian.

Oxfam Rwanda Programme informs the public that on 15th April 2017 from 09:00 AM there will be an auction of used office assets and equipment.
The office assets and equipment to be auctioned includes a 40 KVA Generator, IT equipment, Heavy weight car jerk, office furniture, office stationeries, etc....
The office assets and equipment to be auctioned are grouped into 23 lots as follows:

  1. Interested bidders should submit their offers in the sealed envelopes on which appear the name and address of the Bidder and the following words:

Oxfam Rwanda Programme
  1. Bidders shall specify the number of the lot they are competing for and their financial offer per lot
  2. On auction date the envelopes will be received at the same place where the auction will be done starting 9:00 A.M up to 10:00. The envelopes will be opened at 10:30 AM at Oxfam Rwanda former office located at KG5 Av 15, Kacyiru Sud, next to IKIREZI Library.
  3. Items paid will be taken by successful bidders on presentation of bank slips.This should be done within 24 hours otherwise the offer shall be rejected.
  4. Visits can be done by all potential bidders on Thursday 13th April 2017 and Friday 14th April 2017 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Oxfam former offices.
  5. Should the successful bidder fail to complete the transaction in due course; the committee shall negotiate with the first reserve bidder.
