University of Lincoln Scholarships for International Students in UK



For September 2017 intake, University of Lincoln is offering a number of scholarships to academically gifted students from around the world. Scholarships are available for pursuing the undergraduate and postgraduate programme.
The University of Lincoln is a public research university in the city of Lincoln, England, UK. The university has origins tracing back to 1861, and after gaining university status in 1992, was known as the University of Humb
erside until 1996 and the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside until 2001, when it adopted its present name.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate programme.

Scholarship Award: Depending on your academic ability, intended programme of study and nationality, the level of scholarship can vary.

International Undergraduate Scholarships
Santander International Scholarships: For high-achieving students from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Russia, Spain, Uruguay and USA in their first year of study.
Engineering Bursaries: Global industry leader Siemens offers a significant number of generous Bursaries to all full-time BEng and MEng Engineering applicants who make the University of Lincoln their first choice institution via UCAS.
Science & Arts Scholarship: For self-funding international (non-UK/EU) students with overseas fee status undertaking an Undergraduate laboratory and studio based course.
Academic Excellence Scholarship: For High achieving students from China, India, Malaysia, Norway, Nigeria, Saudi, Thailand, and the United States. These scholarships are worth £5000 and are specific to certain courses depending on home country.
International Postgraduate Scholarships

Chevening Scholarships: For all international students who show outstanding leadership potential.
Commonwealth Scholarships (Commonwealth Scholarship Commission web site): The University of Lincoln offers scholarships under the Commonwealth Scholarships Part-Funding Arrangement to qualifying Masters and PhD students.
Ghana Scholarships: For self-funding postgraduate taught students from Ghana. For 2017/18, the scholarship is valued at £5,000.
Global Postgraduate Scholarships: For self-funding international (non-UK/EU) students with overseas fee status applying for postgraduate programmes.
Goa Education Trust Scholarships: Available to All Indian Nationals interested in suitable Masters programmes within the UK .
International Alumni Scholarship: For self-funding international (non-UK/EU) students who have previously completed an undergraduate, postgraduate taught or postgraduate research degree from the University of Lincoln.
Santander International Scholarships: For high-achieving students from Spain, Latin America or North America in their first year of study.
Top up to Masters Scholarships: For international fee paying students who progress to a Masters degree after completing a Top Up Degree at the University of Lincoln (Top Up means direct entry into year three of a three year degree).
University of Lincoln Court Postgraduate Bursary: A one-off payment of £3,000 to an exceptional student embarking on a postgraduate taught (PGT) course within any discipline of the 2017/2018 academic year.
Uruguay PhD Scholarship: This programme consists of full 3-year PhD scholarships for citizens of Uruguay, which cover University fees and a subsistent bursary.
Vietnam Merit Scholarships: For self-funding postgraduate taught students from Vietnam. For 2017/18, the scholarship is valued at £5,000.
Nationality: International students can apply for these scholarships.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement:
Undergraduate Programmes: The University of Lincoln accepts a wide range of qualifications as the basis for entry. The required tariff for each course can be made up from various qualifications including A/AS Level, BTEC and many other specialist awards. In addition, all applicants must have at least 3 GCSEs at grade C or above (or the equivalent) including English language. GCSE requirements for some courses may be higher.
Postgraduate Programmes: Applicants must have an undergraduate degree.
English Language Requirement: Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.

Undergraduate Programmes: Applications for full-time undergraduate courses at the University of Lincoln are made through UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service).
Postgraduate Programmes: Applying online for a place at the University of Lincoln couldn’t be easier. If you already know which programme you wish to study, go straight to MyLincoln. Here you will be able to create an online profile and manage the application process. If you do not have all the required information handy, you can pause and continue at a later date; the information you have entered will be saved. If you are not sure of the programme title, you should search for the course, navigate to the programme page and click “Apply Online”. Before applying, please talk to the admissions contact for the particular programme you wish to study. Contacts can be found on individual programme pages.
Application Deadline: For programmes commencing in September, international applications will need to be received by June 30, 2017.
