AB Bank Rwanda Limited has been operating in Rwanda since January 2014. It is a member of an international network of commercial banks providing banking services to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and private individuals in Africa, Asia and Latin America.           

Since the start of operations, AB Bank Rwanda has been growing remarkably in number of clients and staff. To further facilitate the gro
wth of our client base and branch network we are now seeking motivated professionals to join us. With this in mind, applicants will need to demonstrate willingness to:

Bring new customers and deposit volumes to the branch by means of direct promotion

Sales of loan products, payment services and digital platforms

-       Sell ABR all products and services by informing people outside the bank about the strengths of AB Bank and about its products and services

-       Open accounts accurately in the bank system

-       Conduct efficient follow-up on potential customers and guide them to account opening with a relevant balance

-       Ensure KYC and AML requirements are met for all their clients

-       Conduct efficient follow-up on customers in their portfolio and guide them to account usage to increase transactional use by clients, with the aim of ensuring accounts opened do not become inactive, and that AB Bank becomes the house bank for the said clients.

-       Identify additional opportunities for AB Bank to reach out to and convince new potential customers of its offer

-       Perform market research

-       Represent AB Bank and its values at all times, adopt a professional, courteous, efficient and friendly behavioral style when working with clients, applicants and colleagues or in contact with any other people outside the bank

Results expected to achieve

-       Increase bank’s deposits and accounts                                                                - Increase bank’s loan portfolio

-       Maintain good relationship with clients                                                              - Loan referrals

-       Increasing of number of subscriptions -Mobile, Online, Agency, etc services sold

-       Number of payment services referred.

Academic Qualification:

·         Bachelor degree in marketing, management, business or related field.

Experience and other requirements:

·         At least 6 months experience in a client facing role (internship included) i.e sales agent, receptionist, marketer, vendor, etc.

Desired Skills:

·         - Strong motivation, discipline and ability to organize own work schedule

·         - Good communication and sales skills

·         - Ability and willingness to work in a team

·         - Good computing skills and accurate data entry skills

·         - Fluency in English and in Kinyarwanda

·         - Good knowledge of all operations, products and services offered by the Bank
